Founder and Chairwomen

Mary is a valued board member for Project Little Brother, a foundation supporting children and families affected by autism. With a distinguished career at Starbucks, she championed gender equality in the coffee industry. After witnessing the need for healthcare and education in developing countries, Mary founded the Lacewing Foundation in 2004. She currently serves as its Chairwoman and also leads MJW Consulting. Mary’s expertise extends to sustainable practices as a board member for the Committee on Sustainability Assessment. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree from the New School for Social Research and a master’s degree from Beacon College. Mary’s dedication and experience greatly contribute to the mission of Project Little Brother.

West Christian
Director of Operations and Co-Chair

West is the Director of Operations and Co-Chair at Project Little Brother. With a background in the food safety and training industry, he has been instrumental in developing an online training program at Food Handler Solutions. Additionally, West has served in various advisory and board roles, including the national School Nutrition Associations (SNA) board of directors, the Lacewing Foundation as a technology advisor, and as the chair of the Food Handler Solutions Advisory Group. He has also contributed to initiatives such as the Achieving Excellence College Scholarship Award. With his expertise and dedication, West plays a vital role in driving the mission of Project Little Brother.
